Let me introduce myself. I am a little sheep chosen with care and love to be given as a gift. I was presented on New Years Day 2010 on a balcony of a rather nice apartment in Nerja Spain. From the moment I emerged from my tissue wrapping I was loved and adored, I have to admit, I am the cutest thing on four pieces of string.
I was given my own little bed, loads of wonderful attention and all the creature comforts that I desired. I was named after a rather creative moment in the apartment kitchen which resulted in some old cake and dried fruit being soaked in the dregs of a rum bottle and passed off as a well known desert (rum baba or baba au rhum), not the most salubrious of origins, but the name RumBaaBaa seemed to suit me and sounds a bit like the little noise that I make when you poke my tummy.
I get around a bit and have my photograph taken often; I like to pose and am a perfect subject because I can sit very still unless there is a stiff wind blowing outside then I fall over. You will see how photogenic I am when you look at my pictures.
I have decided to keep a diary of my adventures and experiences which I hope you will find interesting, some of it might make you smile. You are welcome to try any of the recipes, which are of course my favourites and the drinks which I hope that you will consume responsibly.
